Two months until I leave! It’s a crazy, wild feeling, but the closer it gets I am filled excitement, honor, and just a sense of peace while I’m getting ready to be on the missions field. I just left the country a week ago for the first time on my graduation trip with my best friends! It has been a blast and I feel a lot more at peace with traveling outside the country by myself for when I’m going to Thailand and Cambodia. I also know how to pack light now, bc of this trip. I’m getting all my items together for the trip and continuing fundraising. My best friends mom is going to help me plan a worship night for fundraising. I have $5.090 left to fundraise, which can be a discouraging number, but I’m praying and filling myself up with people who speak into me and are also in belief I will get the money for this trip. And yes I have felt discouraged. This whole experience is new and a very unknown territory for me. I’m getting out of my comfort zone a lot while fundraising, but honestly it fills me up with excitement when I try something new. I usually feel tons better and encouraged that it really wasn’t that scary. Been praying a lot more. My dad reminded me last night of praying for myself to open up and ask God to change my heart and mind to be able to recieve and be prepared for what is coming in Southeast Asia. And to also touch my heart and make it different than it is. Those are big and I’m excited to continue to be in agreement with the change that is to come.
