Hello hello! It is the end of March and I am getting more and more excited everyday for this trip and everything I’m going to get to experience and see. About 2-3 weeks ago I was sitting down at school going over some missions stuff for fundraising and looked at a photo that I’ve seen everyday since applying for my missions trip and yes it has made me excited about going on this trip, but never have I felt sincerely giddy when looking at it. As I was just staring at it, I began to feel this sense of pure joy over me. I think I had been stuck in fundraising mode and once I realized that yes it is about making money for the trip, but its also about making the connections, learning from people, and actually going on this trip that is the purpose of this whole thing. Fundraising has opened my eyes to the Word and my own relationship with Jesus in new ways. It has gotten me to build a deeper connection with the Holy Spirit and really lean in to trust God more and more. Again, I am super stoked for what God has to offer me on my way to this trip and actually on the trip. Thanks for reading and enjoy the rest of your month!
