my backpack.. filled to the brim 🫣

We have moved to Thailand! Yeah babbayyy! We took a train, it was dope 🙂 Sad to leave Siem Reap, but excited for new beginnings. We moved into our hostel and it is wonderful here. We had two days of ministry this week. We got to paint and clean a transitional home for women. The ministry were working with is amazing. This week we start working with two different types of ministry which I’m super hype for.

Thailand..

It’s been interesting here in Thailand. Definitely a different feel in the air. Heavier i’d say. I felt super safe in Siem Reap to the point where I questioned if my discernment was on hahha, but then we got to Thailand and it was an immediate switch. I feel safe, it just feels heavier in the since of they just need Jesus! Been praying more than ever, asking God and His angels for constant protection, and just in more knowledge of how the devil can sneak in and start to create insecurities in myself and doubt in a God I’ve believed in my whole life. I feel the heaviness, but what an honor it is to be here and be able to serve a God that just wants His kids to trust and believe in Him and His faithfulness. Have gotten the honor of witnessing my teammates share the gospel with such grace and bravery. Feeling God pull at your heart to share or go back and pray for someone is such a cool feeling. And to be obedient with it or not. Learning a lot, seeing a lot. God’s cool and His grace is oh so real. Meeting such hungry individuals and some that aren’t so. He’s constantly teaching and speaking. A friend of mine on my team shared the gospel with a lady whilst we were out shopping one night in the market. She just got talking and after a half hour we were in the back of her shop praying for her. Sparking up conversation is powerful, asking questions is powerful, sharing truth is powerful. All a bit scary, but your obedience can move things. Shake things up. However much He wants them to. That night I got to watch the Holy Spirit speak through Clarah and watch the gifting of another one of my teammates thrive. This lady that we prayed for had a son with autism and my friend, Liv, got to share with her somethings that could help him out when he gets stressed. She got to hear about the gospel and get some help for her son. Thank you Jesus! ANOTHER STORY is that we got to meet our host moms brother who had recently been struck by lightening ending with him in the hospital with little movement. He’s been getting his movement back slowly, but in Cambodia there isn’t much of a healthcare system, so physical therapy isn’t much of a thing. But God, man. But God. One of my teammates, Ellie, graduated with a degree in exercise science. Dope right?! Well she got to share with him some exercises that could slowly help him get back to movement that he hadn’t had in a while. The next week we showed up and he was holding his kid! LIKE WHAT! God’s working and moving everywhere and it’s been an honor to work with Him and witness it. Been sitting on God just wanting an obedient and willing heart. Him just wanting our yes. Well, we had our final walk over to the family that lives past the flooded rice fields that I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. We passed this man that was fishing and I noticed he didn’t have the top part of his finger. Felt a pull to go back and pray for his finger to grow back and invited someone into that. I knew I wouldn’t stop myself, so I told my friend and teammate, Alyssa, about it. After a while I stopped walking and turned to ask one of our hosts who speaks Khmer if I could ask to pray for him. She asked for his name and motioned to me about something and he briskly walked away. I said my yes. Prayed for that man and his heart as we were walking away. Been reading the Gospels for the first time and reading on the faith that Jesus had. Learning that sometimes God just wants our yes and maybe that wasn’t that man’s time to be prayed for. Maybe that man’s heart needed something else during that time, but we get the choice on how we leave that situation. We are just a vessel. We are here to share and be obedient. Proud of my yes and the many more I get to say.

Peace and love,

My <3

  1. May or may not be sitting here crying reading this…… thanks for sharing everything God is doing in such rawness. He is doing big things in you, and the way you articulate it encourages others to see Him that way too. So super in awe of God and all He’s doing. Love u

  2. Your “yes” to Jesus affects way more than what is seen. Just your “yes” to Him to BE there is changing the atmosphere around you and in you because HE, The Light, is in you. He loves you! ♥️
