AUGUST

Hi. This is actually quite insane (insane in the best way possible). I leave in close to 2 weeks !! That just blows my mind that in a little over two weeks I’ll be in Gainesville, GA with the people I will spend 2-3 months with OVERSEAS! We’ll learn all about what it’s going to look like on the field, serving wise, everything wise! I’m getting more and more excited! Thrilled actually, that my life going to be permanently changed. Been praying a lot recently. Feeling more at peace with where i’m headed. Not more prepared, but more at peace which is exactly where I want to be. Firm believer in the advice I was told early on that “you can never be as prepared as you want to be and it’s better that way.” I believe that more and more everyday, because as I get closer to going to training than to Thailand. I think showing up to God and being like, “God, you have my heart, I have complete faith in you to show up and use my hands as your own.” One thing I’ve been praying about.. a lot. Just him using His hands as my own. Something I’ve been praying about since I was young(er) too. haha! I’m excited to see what God holds for these next two weeks while I’m home as I get prepared to leave.

Wanted to say a special thank you to everyone for the constant support and prayers as I head off in the next two weeks. Every bit of support I’ve received has meant so much to me and I’m so grateful for you all. I’ve got some incredible, faithful people in my life.
